When we moved into our current place it was already very cozy and pretty but it wasn’t really our design style. So, slowly over the past two years,we’ve made changes: here is the result so far*
*I have tried to replicate the original photos I had which is why some of the angles are a bit strange; but I know that it’s best to have similar angles for proper before and afters!

We’ve been working on adding some art to Vera’s room; the book ledges and decorative mirrors already added some interest but we wanted more color. So we paired this $10 (on sale) Wee Society WEEHEEHEE, MEDIUM-RAWR 9×12 art print with an IKEA FISKBO 16×20 frame. I added Target spritz™ wrapping paper (no longer available) as a mat et voilà! So cute!
The original 1970’s medicine cabinet in the bathroom wasn’t doing much for us; we didn’t keep anything in it and it projected a good 2″ from the wall on the left side of the vanity.
old 1970’s medicine cabinet… 🙁 who though of the shape for the top of that door? rough…
So my husband removed the old cabinet and built a new niche for me using some mdf, 1″x4″s and trim 🙂

For our wedding in May 2013 I ordered RIFLE PAPER Co. place cards through Ruche, Inc. However, I still needed table numbers and wanted them to fit the theme of the place cards.
