I’ve never posted any pics of my current bedroom (we switched from the back bedroom to this one about 2 years ago). It was kind of on the back burner for a while with Veers/life/etc. but I’m finally pretty much done with it!!!!!!!!
The frames are all IKEA and the art prints above the bed were purchased during one of AllPosters.com’s big sale events=sooo much savings to be had–the Fahrenheit 451 print is my absolute favorite—it’s the one title that is in both my top ten books and movies (and I love Julie Christie; mod sixties always and forever!) <3 The ‘Pines in Fog’ is also from the sixties and the Times Square print is late forties
The desk I use as a vanity was bought for that purpose back in 2012 as was the tufted stool, the mirror was a Homegoods purchase many moons ago
I got this canvas print on sale at IKEA and I really like it even though it’s so generic the colors are very pretty <3
nooo I don’t own an iron–perhaps it’s time blarg
The headboard was Wayfair about 2 years ago and the bedspread was from Target around the same time. I thought the headboard was nice because it was inexpensive not to austere but not too elaborate either
When we moved into our current place it was already very cozy and pretty but it wasn’t really our design style. So, slowly over the past two years,we’ve made changes: here is the result so far*
*I have tried to replicate the original photos I had which is why some of the angles are a bit strange; but I know that it’s best to have similar angles for proper before and afters!

We’ve been working on adding some art to Vera’s room; the book ledges and decorative mirrors already added some interest but we wanted more color. So we paired this $10 (on sale) Wee Society WEEHEEHEE, MEDIUM-RAWR 9×12 art print with an IKEA FISKBO 16×20 frame. I added Target spritz™ wrapping paper (no longer available) as a mat et voilà! So cute!

I think as long as Vera’s bed is still a crib and not a toddler bed this is still classified as a nursery haha. I’ll definitely do another post when we make that transition but there will have to be more baby-proofing done before then!
Vera enjoying her nap at 8 months old —-crib sheet is Circo from Target
We were not up on all the crib options when we first started looking for a crib 1.5 years ago. After a lot of research we decided that the Honest 4-in-1 crib
would be the safest option for Vera with non-toxic paint, etc. We paired it with this
Naturepedic waterproof mattress (nontoxic, waterproof, and wipeable=win)
