grey day diy: inexpensive table numbers

Table numbers DIY floral from Rifle Paper Co place cards leftover packaging Wedding Reception

For our wedding in May 2013 I ordered RIFLE PAPER Co. place cards through Ruche, Inc. However, I still needed table numbers and wanted them to fit the theme of the place cards.

Lucky for me I had ordered 8 packs of place cards and I had only 8 guest tables–each pack of place cards came with a backing card–these are what I used as the bases for my table numbers:

I trimmed off the tops of each backing card just under the lettering, but making sure to preserve the upper floral detail to use later.

I then (carefully!) cut out the extra floral details and glued them to the bottom corner of each card.

The numbers were cut out of excess gold envelopes from our wedding invites (i printed numbers out first and used them as guides).

I made little stands for the cards out of white poster board and glued them to the back of each number and…voila!
