Every weekend this past month we’ve been working hard on the spare room that will be our baby girl’s nursery. It’s been slow going since it was our catch-all room when we moved in and it had continued to accumulate random items as the months went by.
I’m going for a Scandinavian feel but with a bit more color if that makes sense. A few things in her room are new: we got the Hemnes dresser from IKEA in the “white stain” finish which up close still shows a bit of the wood grain and is super cozy looking. We also picked up the IKEA Gulliver changing table in white.
The beautiful mirror is called “Openwork Leaves” from Zara Home–i think it adds a soft french-looking touch to contrast with all of the straight lines.
The crib we chose is the “Honest 4-in-1 Convertible Crib With Toddler Rail” in white/washed natural—we picked it because it has clean lines and is completely safe and non-toxic for our baby while still being very reasonably priced.
We replaced the old lantern with an IKEA Regolit pendant because it felt more baby’s room-ish.
